Growing up in Australia and living in Hong Kong I've always been close to water and beach cultures. On one weekend boating trip it occurred to me that the only thing missing from the beautiful scenery and friendly atmosphere was... comfortable seating. After ten months of sketches, numerous prototypes and endless water tests, the world’s first shapeable, floating Amphibious Lounger was born. Its special porous fabric allows water to enter and bond with the beans filling to enable stability as it floats. It shapes up equally well on deck and is hugely relaxing. This is amphibious seating ecstasy.
Since its induction, Amphibious Lounger has been winning accolades and fans from all over the world. Its recent achievements includes :
- Winner of Best Seating 2005 -- 2006 ELLE Decoration (HK) International Design Awards
- Nominee for Best Seating 2006, ELLE DECO International Design Awards, held in Milan, Italy
- Finalist for DFA Design For Asia Awards, chosen from over 500 international design entries
